Protein: Chlorella contains lots of protein, including all nine essential amino acids.
B vitamins: Chlorella is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B6, B9 and B12. B group vitamins are necessary for everyone who eats little or no meat, such as vegetarians, vegans and the elderly.
Iron and Vitamin C: Chlorella is also a good source of iron and vitamin C. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron.
